Overwhelming vote of confidence as 6,000 made their way to Coach & Bus Live 2009
Coach & Bus Live 2009 was without doubt a resounding success and received an overwhelming vote of confidence from right across the industry. With a waiting list for stands and busy exhibitors handling numerous sales enquiries, the show has made a significant contribution to the business and order books of many vehicle manufacturers and suppliers. Furthermore the show has posted a pre-audited attendance figure of almost 6,000, an increase of 3% over the 2007 event.
A valuable day out for all those who made it
Despite the challenges faced during 2009, the show has far exceeded everyone’s expectations. The vast majority of exhibitors have enjoyed a strong show and their decision to participate having been more than vindicated. Not only did the show sell all available stand space with 205 top exhibitors names but a busy Technology Zone, an interesting series of seminars, a fiercely contested Skills Test and a well attended outdoor vehicle display all went towards making a valuable day out for all those who made it.
A real buzz from all around the show floor
This year’s show has all been about working together and judging by the buzz from around the show floor, the mood of manufacturers, suppliers and operators alike has certainly lightened. Coach & Bus Live 2009 has provided them with additional reassurance that there are better times to look forward to in the year ahead. This atmosphere of collaboration could be no better illustrated than at the VOSA Workshop Live sessions where the level of interaction with operators scaled new heights.
High level of bookings for next year underpins growing mood of optimism
The fact there we received so many onsite bookings and enquiries for next year’s event, Euro Bus Expo, goes to show that exhibitors are starting to feel much more confident about their business prospects for 2010 and beyond, and more specifically the role that key trade exhibitions such as our own have to play in that.
